Dancing Shoes At Aldo
September 26, 2014
I had Aldo squirrelled away in a "Mall Store" category of my brain: I pictured their glossy white, brightly lit showrooms, and didn't immediately look to their website for a sandal solution. If I had, I would have saved myself so much time and bleary-eyed screen squinting at other sites. (Shame on me.)
The footwear at Aldo is decidedly fashion-forward, but not to an unwearable extreme. In addition to the fun, sparkly sandals for summer, they're showcasing several other lust-worthy trends at the moment: Croc flats, stiletto booties, platform sneakers and peep-toe pumps, to name a few. The looks for fall are getting me all excited for pumpkin lattes and scarves, too: Oxfords, riding boots, loafers and moto booties with stacked heels. I'm not one to wish away summer, but, man, am I itching to pull on a pair of tall boots over jeans.
The best part, besides all of the stylish shoes, are the prices. Not too steep for shoes that look this good. My co-shopping bride-to-be was majorly impressed with the formal heels at Aldo, and snatched these creamy, sparkly sky-high heels for her big day. (As seen on Project Runway! Bonus fabulous points.) After the ceremony and photos, she's going to change into these flat, comfy and (still) sparkly sandals. For a total of $120, that is a lot of fierceness. Plus, all orders over $50 ship for free, to ratchet up the awesomeness of this shopping experience.
Aldo offers expanded size selections online, as well as loads of cute accessories, like bold, metallic baubles, floral watches, hats and scarves, and tons- no really, a ton- of handbags that look ridiculously rich but are in fact so budget-friendly, you could totally buy two. Which I strongly encourage you to do.
Big event coming up, or just looking to mix up your shoe wardrobe? Hit up Aldo, in the flesh on online, and amp up that shoe game.
