Wonderful Wedding Looks At J.Crew
July 17, 2014
What is especially nice about J.Crew's wedding collection is that the looks are classic but not stale; on-trend but not cheap. Each piece is much more interesting than the requisite and often ho-hum little black dress and is well-made, meaning it will last another wedding season, too.The cocktail dresses and bridesmaids dresses are easily interchangeable, speaking to their versatility and style. The wedding gowns, on the other hand, are not only sophisticated but also fashion-forward and decidedly out of the box- a big impact from a one-time-only dress. No cookie cutter princess poofs here; J.Crew's gowns are chic and elegant, and definitely won't break the budget, either. We love a sassy little number for a cocktail reception or the slinky Bettina gown for a va-va-voom effect. The Clara dress is perfect for City Hall vows, or either the frankly adorable romper or jumpsuit.
Men have a vast array of suiting options to choose from, and none of them are a boxy, rented tuxedo, that's for sure. A navy wool suit is timeless, as is the suave and less formal linen vest. If the groom wants to haul out the big guns, the always glamorous tuxedo is the way to go. While you're at it, scoop up a few rugged Timex vintage watches as groomsmen gifts, too.
In need of some fabulous accessories to punch things up a bit? How about a glittering headband, sparkly statement earrings, or something blue to finish off your ensemble?
Congratulations, you are now ready (sartorially, at least) to conquer wedding season. Whether you are the bride or a guest, you can look your absolute best easily with a quick jaunt to J.Crew. Just make sure your heels are ready for many, many spins on the dance floor.
